Anyone who dares to dream should have
the business they deserve.

Mesa was founded on this belief: That sharp, driven innovators should be unencumbered by the daily slog of financial technicalities. They should be free to focus on the critical work of building their business and exercising their unique, specialized skill sets.

We’ve always focused on financials.

Accounting, forecasting, budgeting, tax planning, debt financing, strategic CFO services—that’s our core area of expertise.

Our team consists of trained and accredited CPAs, CFOs, analysts, bookkeepers, and more.

To work effectively, we’ve had to solve urgent problems far beyond finance.

Our operating standard has always been to take on tasks that busy founders and leaders don’t have time for. That often meant expanding our scope of services to better support our partners.

→ Processing payroll required compliance checks and more efficient onboarding systems. So we built those.

→ Tax strategy was tied to corporate structure, and remote workforces had varied state tax liabilities and reporting requirements. So we handled the nuances and worked with lawyers to form and dissolve the recommended business entities.

→ PTO policy affected operational efficiency and ultimately, the bottom line. So we automated a PTO approval workflow that still ensured adequate coverage.

We offer HR and operational support because it allows us to better execute financial strategies and solve our partners’ problems. It’s that simple.

For us, finance exists within the
real world of your business.

We understand that financial decisions don’t happen in a vacuum. It’s about more than just numbers.

Any modeling, projections, or analysis comes with a nuanced interpretation that accounts for your growth strategy, personal priorities, business model, runway, team capabilities, standard business requirements, and more.

→ We don’t just answer the easy *finance* question: Can you afford the recurring payment? We answer the harder *business* question: Can you afford not to spend this money if you want to achieve your growth goals?

→ When layoffs appear imminent, we can evaluate alternative pathways to protect cash flow and your workforce.

→ For every dollar saved through cheaper tools, we look at what would be lost, too: Efficiency, visibility, transition downtime, maintenance costs?

With Mesa, you get a business consultant free with your finances.
